Adventure World Playsets are made in the USA and constructed following the highest standards. The following quality and safety features are standard at no extra cost on all play sets:
- Heavy-duty corner construction is through bolted with two steel angles; we do not use wood lags, which connect by being driven only half way into the beams.
- No exposed wood! Some manufacturers use wooden joist and plywood exposed from bottom side.
- Long-lasting poly-lumber roofs instead of canvas because they resist high winds.
- Heavy Duty Swing Hangers with spring clip for easy height adjustment and swing change
- Stainless steel bolts and chains will not rust
- Powder-coated brackets resist peeling and rusting
- Durable structural parts and sturdy construction create stable play sets that won’t tip in high winds or as children swing. Two ground anchors are included with each swing beam.

Rubber Mats, Rubber Mulch, & Curbing

A shock-absorbing, protective surface is top on the safety checklist for home playgrounds. Adventure World Play Sets recommends installing your home playground equipment over rubber mulch to reduce the likelihood of injury from falls. Grass, dirt, carpet, or thin mats are not considered protective surfaces because they lack the ability to absorb shock; concrete, asphalt or other hard surfaces are even more dangerous!
Rubber mulch is made from 100% recycled tire rubber, is non-toxic, and meets federal flammability standards. It stays in place even in windy conditions and retains cushiony softness year round (will not freeze). Rubber mulch drains and dries quickly after it rains. l does not rot, attract insects, or promote insect breeding. Optional heavy-duty fabric base under the mulch (prevents weeds and still allows drainage) is also available.

Our premium play sets use pressure-treated lumber covered by heavy-duty walled vinyl. This combines the strength of wood with the easy care for, safe, and smooth surface of vinyl. Vinyl offers superior durability and safety as well as easy upkeep. It is fade resistant, splinter free, doesn’t require the maintenance of staining or painting. Vinyl also resists wood boring insects and bees.

As your kids grow, baby swings can be switched for belt swings or other big-kid accessories. At a later date, you can also add swing beams or other features to build out your play set to accommodate changing needs and budget planning.
Yes. Your yard should be fairly level to safely accommodate a play set. The minimum allowable slop is 6 inches every 20 feet. You also will need to place your play set six feet away from any structure or obstacle to prevent any accidents when your children are playing on their new play set.

Yes, Our manufacturer (Adventure World Play Sets) provides a limited 20-year warranty on their play sets covering defects in workmanship and materials. Slides, swings, and accessories are covered by a Limited 5-Year Manufacturer’s Warranty. These warranties apply only to products used for residential, single-family dwellings subject to ordinary use and proper installation.

Commercial Play Sets
We now offer a line of commercial play sets! Commercial play sets are ASTM compliant and CPSI inspector certified. Choose one of our 5 standard commercial play set packages, modify a standard package, or completely customize your commercial play set.
Do I need a commercial swing set? This is an important question that will need to be answered before you purchase a playground. If your swing set is being used in a commercial environment, then the answer is most likely “yes”. Commercial environments include parks in residential neighborhoods or for HOA’s, churches, daycares, and RV parks just to name a few. To be sure, you can talk with your insurance company or local government authority to verify if an ASTM certified commercial swing set is needed.
At Adventure World Play Sets, all commercial swing sets are ASTM certified. With a commercial swing set and mulch package, we offer free on-site inspections from one of our in-house certified CPSI inspectors. We will give you a letter stating that your commercial playground and surface meet all ASTM requirements. This letter will satisfy government agencies and insurance companies. Other companies often charge extra for this service, but Adventure World Playsets includes this service!
Each package comes with rubber mulch and our faux stone border. If you would like to have your own surfacing installed, we can give you the fall height requirements for your surfacing. However, the free on-site inspection will not be included if you choose to install your own surfacing.
How do your vinyl sets compare to the alternative metal sets? Adventure World Playsets gives a 20-year warranty on the frame and 5-year on all accessories. Metal swing sets are not as attractive and give off a cold feel. Furthermore, they tend to be more expensive. We think you will love the quality and look of our swing sets!
